Aranami Shawl Special

We are featuring the Aranami Shawl for our November special! This shawl would be the perfect project for someone who is looking to try something new without being too complicated. This shawl involves picking up stitches and short rows to create a beautiful wave-like pattern.

This Aranami Shawl was made by our very own Amy Bear.

The shawl is knit on a size 2 needle, but don’t let that scare you away! All the triangles and changing colors make this shawl fly right off the needles.

It looks great worn as a scarf, too!

Any fingering weight yarn would work for this project. You could choose a variegated yarn, or a different color for each level of the shawl for a gradient look. To see the gradient style shawl, click here.

Perfect selections for the Aranami Shawl.

We have several yarns that would work perfectly for the Aranami Shawl, but pictured above are some of our favorite choices. The yarn pictured above, Lang Jawoll Degrade and Louisa Harding variegated fingering weight yarn, will be 20% off for the month of November so you can get started on your very own Aranami Shawl. The pattern is available on Revelry and we would be happy to help you purchase the pattern in the shop as well! Be sure to stop by the shop this month for help picking out your yarn and getting started on the shawl. Happy knitting!
